DATE/TIME: 30/march/2008 (10 a.m.) - IDENTIFICATION AND BEHAVIOUR: Three birds are soaring above a hill covered by a wide deciduous wood. Two of these birds engage an aerial pursuit performing acrobatic flight. They call several times during the acrobatic flight. - POSITION: Monte Leoni near Montorsaio village, LAT. N. 42°54'/ LONG. E 11°10' - ALTITUDE: +550 m. - VOCALIZATION TYPE: many different excited calls (threat calls?). - SEX/AGE: unknown. - COMMENT: Probably a pair, which is the territory owner, is approached by a third "foreign" bird, which in turn is chased by one of the pair members.
